This event marked an important step towards strengthening international scientific and educational partnerships. During the online meeting, the President of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Professor Stanislav Dovgyi, and the Director of ESI, Prof. Christoph Dellago, expressed their confidence that the Memorandum would provide a solid foundation for the development and implementation of new scientific and intercultural projects, as well as for the exchange of expertise.
“Since the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, we have observed with deep gratitude the initiatives of the University of Vienna aimed at supporting Ukrainian school and university students.
I sincerely thank the University of Vienna for its many years of openness, solidarity, and support for Ukraine. I would also like to express my gratitude to Professor Christoph Dellago, Director of ESI, for his consistent commitment to the development of international scientific cooperation.
Special thanks go to Professor Michael Eichmair for his leadership in the preparation of the Memorandum and for his initiatives in support of Ukrainian youth and science, as well as to Dmytro Rzhemovskyi for his care and practical support for Ukrainian children and talented young people.
This cooperation will contribute to the development of academic mobility, the dissemination of scientific knowledge, the implementation of UNESCO initiatives, and, most importantly, the creation of educational opportunities that foster resilience, competencies, and future leadership among young people in Ukraine,”noted Stanislav Dovgyi.
