Finalists will compete for 9 main awards: three first, second and third prizes:
I prize - 7, 000 EUR;
II prize - 5,000 EUR;
III prize - 3,500 EUR.
However, there is more! You will also have a chance to receive special awards and prizes from the partners of the contest.
A special award will give you the opportunity to attend the London International Youth Science Forum or the Stockholm International Youth Science Seminar, where you will have to see the Nobel Prize Ceremony!
The EIROforum prize will allow you to visit the biggest research laboratories in Europe. And the Joint Research Center of the European Commission (JRC) awards three contestants with a two-day trip to the JRC site in Ispra, Italy.
The European Chemical Society will award the best project in the category with 1000 EUR. Therefore, if you feel confident with testing tubes and reagents, you can get an additional reward for your research! What if you grow the cheapest artificial diamonds or create a compound that will save water bodies from pollution?
If you are looking for a way to recycle garbage with bugs, worms and bacteria, and if you want eco-friendly organic cosmetics to be used all over the world, then Bio-based Industries can help you. It will award the best project in the field: the winner will go to Brussels and visit bio-based plants in Belgium and Northern France. And last but not least, you can also win a visit to "FoodDrinkEurope" and "Food industry" companies, and EIROforum organizations.
