Destination Imagination is an international educational programme designed to develop one’s creativity and to challenge oneself intellectually!
We do not check whether you can memorize a paragraph from a geography book or write an essay on Kotsiubynsky’s creative career in forty minutes. Instead, we offer interesting challenges in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Improvisation, Service Learning or Fine Arts, which you have to solve in a team, and without any interference of adults. Your Team Manager will only guide the team.

You will join a team of like-minded people with whom you will choose a topic of a team challenge and get a task that needs to be solved. You will work on this task for several months, and after that, you will present your solution at the Ukrainian Destination Imagination Tournament in Kyiv. And if you win, you will have a right to represent Ukraine at the Destination Imagination Global Finals in the USA!

You will learn creative, flexiblе and critical thinking, you will develop and improve teamwork skills, and you will compete and win. These very skills make top managers, entrepreneurs and opinion leaders! And they are also so valued by HR managers!

Together with the team, you will choose one of the six Team Challenges in the fields of Engineering, Technology, Science, Fine Arts, Improvisation or Service-Learning. It means you can do research on any topic from meme culture and urban culture to Robotics :)

You and your team will choose a Challenge and brainstorm to solve it! You will make a project timeline, outline your strategy and tactics, list all the risks of your solution and do this yourselves! Although, if you need advice, you can always ask your mentor – your Team Manager!
And then, you will present your projects to the Appraisers at the Ukrainian Destination Imagination Tournament. Moreover, there will be Instant Challenges to be solved on the spot.

Registration of the teams is open until November or December every year! We post information about the start of training sessions for educators, future Team Managers, on our Facebook page – follow us and invite your educators to do so, and you will not miss anything :)
